CLM Tracks ® rubber tracks are made with the best technologies and materials in order to equip earthmoving machines in the safest and most durable way. The best materials used and the most strict controls in the production processes following the standards of the legislation ISO 9001 guarantee excellent performance in all working conditions. Particular attention is paid in compliance with the Environmental Management System, the CLM Track® tracks are in fact produced in compliance with ISO criteria.
CLM Tracks ® rubber tracks are a high quality product and are made with specially formulated rubber compounds (70% natural rubber and 30% synthetic rubber) that resist cuts and tears, and minimize rubbing wear on compact and abrasive surfaces such as concrete and asphalt.
These compounds and the thickness of the tread reduce vibrations and the careful construction criteria prevent damage to the edges caused by possible impacts with curbs or stones. This avoids damage to the steel cables and the detachment of the rubber from the metal with the consequent leakage of the metal insert.
For some types of excavators, OFFSET (asymmetrical) tracks are also available, in which
the external tread width is smaller, which allows the machine to adapt to tighter spaces.
It is important to note that OFFSET rubber chains are only available for a limited number
of machines based on compatibility.
All our products are covered by a 12 / 24 month warranty.
In particular, with reference to the rubber tracks, the guarantee covers all possible manufacturing defects. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale (reference invoice date) or equivalent 1500 hours of use for the STANDARD range and 24 months or 2500 hours for the PREMIUM range. Within the first 3 months from the date of purchase the track will be entirely replaced with a new ine.For the subsequent period up to the achievement of the warranty terms, the refund will be proportional to the track wear.
They reduce the weight of the machine compared to the steel chain and this results in higher machine speed. By reducing the impact on the ground, no damage is created to a surface made of asphalt or concrete, therefore they are less invasive than using steel tracks.
Low vibrations and noise, the tread pattern depending on the model and size effectively reduces noise and vibrations and, in combination with the elasticity of the track, results in a longer life of the machinery as well as significant operator comfort.
Less impact on the ground and uniformity of machine weight distribution allows you to work easily on soft ground, such as sand, wet surfaces and on sloping surfaces.
The rubber track is able to offer double traction compared to wheeled vehicles of the same weight. This additional traction results in both low and high speed maneuverability, as well as superior towing capabilities.
The structure of our tracks is made with continuous steel cable technology with high
shear and elongation resistance.
They guarantee a uniform tension on the whole track and their design as well as
their coating improves the bond with the rubber, preventing it from detaching and
above all corrosion.
The solid forged steel elements extended across the width of our track help
distribute the machine load evenly over the ground and increase the overall strength
of the rubber track.
The particular shape of the steel guide teeth integrated in the links allows the
pinion and rollers to slide easily along the guide without the risk of “derailment” and
damage to them and to the guide.
Virgin natural rubber guarantees maximum track life.
There are several measurements and essential information to identify the correct
rubber track for your machine. To ensure you receive the appropriate track, you
must have the following information available:
a) The brand, model and year of construction of your machine;
b) The size of the track in: width / pitch / number of sections (links);
c) The dimension of the guide system: external width L1 / internal width L2 *;
d) The type of roller;
e) Check for codes printed inside the tracks mounted on your machine;
* For this type of measurement it is necessary to have a meter as it is necessary to measure the sliding guide of the gear wheel and rollers. This measurement is always in mm and identifying the correct size is essential to avoid that the gear wheel or rollers come out of their housing causing the track to break or the undercarriage to jam; it must also be measured the height of the links inside and outside the sliding guide.
The rubber chains can be mainly diveded in two categories: conventional and interchangeable. The conventional tracks are meant for excavators designed for rubber tracks only, while the interchangeable tracks are used for machines with specific undercarriages designed for both steel and rubber tracks.
According to the type of roller that equips the undercarriage, the suitable track model must be found, as the roller will work on the rubber track exactly the same way it works on the steel chain.
